I am a Relationships and Intimacy Counsellor, Coach, Educator and Activist. My passion is Relationships...the ones we have with our Self, with Others, with Intimate Partners, with Spirit and with the Planet. I have been serving full time in private practice since 1991 ...and am still deeply inspired and grateful to be able to do this work.
Many people feel a deep concern about the state of the world at the moment...not only environmentally and politically...but also relationally. With up to 40% of Marriages breaking up in Australia and over 50% in the USA, things don't look too healthy on the relationship front.
It's true, we are going through a period of chaos...which according to Chaos theory, is a normal part of the process of change and evolution. How exciting to think that the old unworkable Dominator forms of relating are breaking down...and new forms beginning to emerge!!
This is the first time in over 12,000 years...ie most of written history...that women and men (men/men and women/women) have the chance to come together as 'equals'. A whole new basic set of skills and attitudes are needed to ensure that relationships survive and prosper.
As much as I am a fan of David Deida's 3rd level stage of conscious relating with its focus on 'being of service' (awesome!) , it would seem that most of us still need to learn the basics of self esteem and playing win-win.
This sounds so simple, but I find in my coaching and counselling, that the majority of people find this very very difficult. We are so used to competing with each other, that treating each other as equals where we don't have to play power games, is almost unimaginable.
Hence, my passion is to support people to create more conscious, creative, compassionate and succulent relationships of all shapes and sizes.

My major areas of expertise are in relationships, sexuality and intimacy, emotional balancing, communication and learning technologies, mediation, community building and social activism.
And my passion is Relationships – the relationships we have with ourselves, with others, with spirit and the planet. ....and so I conduct groups for singles and couples to attract and sustain succulent, soulful relationships.
I started Turning Point Communications in 1991 (which is now www.Lovecoaching.com)...and since then have worked with 1000s of individuals and groups as diverse as Accelerated Learning to IBM management; Women’s Self Esteem to single mums and corporate executives; NLP Communication Skills in numerous corporate, business and public arenas; Anger Management for male prison inmates; Conflict Resolution to teaching staff and Advanced Communication Skills to Business Advisors.
Between 1999 and 2002, I conducted a successful series of workshops and groups called “Unleash the Flirt Within! - how to become more playful, succulent, and irresistible. ... was interviewed on Body and Soul TV; People Dimensions on ABC TV and various radio shows including ABC Radio National, 2UE and 2GB etc. During 2008, I have been a regular contributor to relationship articles in Body and Soul section of the Telegraph and Cosmopolitan Magazine, Australia.
Also in 2003 I co-facilitated (with Allan Rudner) a series of forums called “She says /He says – Peace talks for the battle between the sexes”. The aim of the forums is to bring women and men together in a space of reconciliation to talk about their fears and misunderstandings and joys – and thereby come to forgiveness and greater aliveness together.
As well as having fun and experiencing all this mad world has to offer.... my mission is to awaken society to the idea that we are in a fascinating period of history where all the established ways of Relating (based on Patriarchy or Dominator systems) are breaking down...and new very different and very diverse forms of relating are emerging.
As many people are very confused with the changes happening all around them, my passion is to support women and men in learning how to connect consciously in diverse and creative ways.
My most important project at the moment, is writing a book on the new Masculinity – called The Invisible Prison – a compassionate look at what is holding back men from being their full authentic compassionate, self-expressed selves.
I'm also also writing a book called 'The Solution to (almost) Everything....coming soon!
